Motorsport Safety NZ is managed by Laurie Callender and is an independent site for all personal safety equipment.

With Health & Safety now a big issue in everything we do, it is imperative you are fully aware and can conform to your Sports Bodies rules and regulations and that you know and understand the rules around your safety equipment. This website will help you achieve this.

“I have been involved in Motorsport all my life, as a teenager racing Motocross, then racing TQ Midgets on Speedway and also delving into Vintage Karting and Historic Motor Racing with his F3 Single Seater race car.

I’ve also been involved as an Official of Speedway NZ for over 30 years and more recently has held the position of Operations Manager full time for 8 years. This role included training of Officials as well as running safety seminars for competitors.”
